Nancy R. Coolidge
Founding Trustee

Nancy R. Coolidge is a founding member of the Lynch Foundation, and an active member of the compensation Committee. She is an advocate for preservation and museums in Massachusetts. 

In 1979, she became a founding member of the Fidelity Non-Profit Management Foundation, where she served for 35 years.  She has also served as a Trustee of The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now Historic New England), Bay Bank Harvard Trust, the Massachusetts Historical Society, the Nichols House Museum, the Henderson Foundation, the Boston Preservation Alliance, Historic Massachusetts, Preservation Action, the Advent School, and the Beacon Hill Nursery School.

Nancy served as Staff Director of the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (Historic New England) from 1983-1992.  In 2016, Nancy received a President’s Award from Old Sturbridge Village for her outstanding work with museums and foundations in Massachusetts.

From 1992-2007 Nancy led group tours to Maritime Canada, Australia & New Zealand, Scandinavia. and Antarctica.

Nancy then became a Group Leader for Road Scholar in 2010, leading educational tours in Maritime Canada and New England. 

She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with Honors in English Literature, as well as the Harvard Radcliffe Program in Business Administration.
