Partners In Health
A Lynch Foundation Ten Bagger
Since 1994, the Lynch Foundation has supported Partners in Health, starting with research on multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has provided annual funding and major contributions, including aid for the Haiti earthquake, the West Africa Ebola outbreak and the Paul E. Farmer Scholarship Fund.
The Lynch Foundation has been supporting Partners in Health since 1994
The Lynch Foundation began working with Partners in Health (PIH) in 1994 through a small grant to support research on multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Peru. This early backing enabled PIH to successfully lead global treatment trials, which led to the cure and prevention of further tuberculosis transmission, saving millions of lives.
The Lynch Foundation continued supporting PIH annually, including significant grants in 2010 for relief efforts in Haiti after the earthquake and in 2016 for the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Most recently, in 2023, The Lynch Foundation made a multi-year commitment to support the Paul E. Farmer Scholarship fund in memoriam of their late founder.
The fund provides scholarships for future global health leaders at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda.
